Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just getting started, “Singing and Songwriting on Harp” Workshop presented by singer, songwriter, harpist, and producer Lucia Stavros is designed to spark ideas and inspire creativity in all who participate. The workshop will feature discussion on songwriting elements including style, form, lyrics, rhythm, technique, and arrangement as well as strategies for performing voice and harp at the same time. We will review the tech/gear you may find useful in supporting your performance at live music venues. This workshop will also cover basics on working with a band including a rhythm section. Take your music to the stage with a practical approach to creating compelling music.

Lucia Stavros is a New York-based harpist, singer/songwriter, and producer. Lucia’s projects explore the spiritual and emotional connections developed in music and through music. As described by The Deli Magazine, Lucia’s “show-stealing, often mysterious lyricism, creates an intergenerational atmosphere chamber pop that feels as modern as it does baroque.” Her debut independently produced album, Burn You Up, released in September 2023.
