October 28, 2024 - New York MetroHarp Social Media Manager, Violetta Maria Norrie sat down with celebrated harpist Rita Costanzi to discuss her life and the process behind her upcoming one-woman show Woman on a Ledge. Woman on a Ledge will have its World Premiere on November 7 at Theater for the New City and run November 7 – 24, 2024.

World-acclaimed harpist Rita Costanzi is returning to the New York stage in the world premiere of Woman on a Ledge, based on Costanzi’s memoir and adapted by Hershey Felder. The production will be directed by Lissa Moira. The show will bow at Theater for the New City (Crystal Field, Artistic Director), 155 First Avenue, New York, NY.

We spent a snowy Saturday on the Upper West Side for our Valentine’s Day Harp Ensemble on February 17th.
We celebrated our first successful event as new officers with our Coffee Social! We filled two tables at Grace St. Coffee with harpists from NYC, New Jersey, and even a special visitor from California!
Kirsten Agresta-Copely has earned a GRAMMY Awards® nomination for her album AQUAMARINE in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant category. Congratulations Kirsten on this huge achievement!
